The Living the Noom estate in Cancun, Mexico, proves that you can successfully combine ecology and technology in an exotic way! Inspired by nature, the architects from Mexico wanted to create an unusual living space for ecological lovers who enjoy communal living.
Living the Noon bears no resemblance to the familiar housing estates and blocks of flats. It is a unique ecological, energy-efficient place set in the midst of nature that attracts attention for its uniqueness.
There is unusual, modern, sustainable construction with LED lighting and photovoltaic panels. Shade is provided by the ubiquitous plants and natural green roofs, as well as recuperation and, of course, rainwater harvesting.
Thanks to the high and oval structures, the authors of the estate promise that only 30% of the land will be occupied. Instead of getting rid of plants and trees before construction, their number will be increased to 130%. The project has already won many awards for its innovation and remarkable execution.
It is excellent proof that it is not at all necessary to interfere with the natural environment to build something modern and awe-inspiring.
